White Tangerine at Kovan

HELLO 2012!!

Hahaha I'm always amused with this photo.
And with every challenge I face this year,
Imma put on this look and say
"Oh yeah? BRING IT ON 2012!!"

Heh. That was random.
Anyway..

This is a drawing we received from an audience
while performing at White Tangerine about 2 years ago.
That's me on the left, Zijie, followed by Ivan on the guitar.
Those days at White T were very fond memories.

White T will always be one of the places I feel most comfortable performing at.

It wasn't for the money or the attention.
It was just always so casual, so impromptu.
Sometimes it's full house, and sometimes there wasn't a single audience.
Still, I enjoyed every single performance.
Because it was just so relaxing.
I was there solely for the love of singing and performing.

Zijie was the person who brought me to this cafe
after we randomly met at a Youth Olympics audition.

I'm always thankful for him
because he introduced me to performing at the cafe.
I also got to know his awesome friends, Ivan and Dehao.
And I met someone who's made the past 2 years of my life very meaningful.

On a related note,
 I'll be performing at White Tangerine Kovan again.
It's my last performance in SG before a six-months halt due to my Europe trip.

Those who think you'd miss my voice, do keep your Sat night free!
Details: 7th Jan, Saturday night, time TBC.
I'll be singing with 2 guitarists, Ivan and Dehao.

Directions: Alight at Kovan MRT, take the exit to Kovan mall, walk through Kovan mall, walk straight ahead, pass by the hawker centre and then Macdonalds, cross the traffic light and you're there! A 7 min walk :)
